Mobile oil change service

OIL CHANGE SERVICES IN COLORADO

To protect your vehicle’s engine, it’s important to get your oil changed regularly. While some synthetic oils mean you can go longer between changes, it will still need to be done in order to keep the moving parts of your engine lubricated and to keep it from overheating.

If you don’t have time to wait at a garage or you’re hesitant about the whole procedure, SLICK Mobile Oil brings the oil change service to you. Currently operating in Denver and Colorado Springs, you schedule the when and the where and we’ll bring our thorough, contactless service to your driveway, office parking lot or wherever you happen to be.

WHY DO YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR OIL?

Your oil may not be the top of the list when you think about vehicle issues but getting it changed can prevent a whole host of engine problems such as overheating, friction wear, a build up of dirt and increased fuel consumption. If you wait too long, the engine could be damaged beyond repair.

It’s also important to note that topping up your engine oil if it’s low is not the same thing as getting a full service oil change. Adding more oil does not clean out contaminants so make sure you get a proper oil change as per your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations.

SIGNS YOU MAY NEED AN OIL CHANGE

There are a few signs that mean you may need an oil change sooner than you realize:

Your check oil light comes on.

Some cars will have an engine light or other warning symbol so make sure you schedule that appointment to keep your engine running smoothly.

You can see the oil level is low.

Check your dipstick to see your engine oil level. If it’s low, book an appointment at your convenience with SLICK Mobile Oil and we’ll bring our expert service to your door.

You can smell something burning.

Engine oil keeps the engine from overheating so if it’s got too low or sludgy, it’s not able to do this effectively. Your engine may be getting too hot so get that oil changed as soon as you can.

The engine makes strange noises.

The oil in your car lubricates the moving parts of your engine so if the quality has deteriorated, there may be excess wear and damage occurring. If you hear grinding or knocking sounds, it’s probably a good idea to get your oil changed to keep your engine in good condition.

If you have experienced any of these warning signs or are just due an oil change as per your manufacturer’s recommendation, schedule a mobile oil change from SLICK.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET MY OIL CHANGED?

Improvements in synthetic engine oil now means your car can go much further between oil changes but the general recommendation is as follows:

Conventional oil – oil change advised every 3000 – 5000 miles

Synthetic blend oil – oil change advised every 5000 – 7500 miles

Full synthetic oil – oil change advised every 5000 – 10,000 miles

As driving styles, weather conditions and surfaces vary, this is just a guide. Full oil change services need to be performed regularly to protect your engine so contact SLICK to schedule your next oil change.

Convenient. Contactless. Trustworthy. Now that’s SLICK.
